Automobile Driving Museum
610 Lairport St., El Segundo, CA 90245
The museum features a rotating collection of 130 classic, antique and vintage automobiles on display. On Sundays, the public is invited to touch and sit in cars and ride with docent drivers in their dream vehicle on public streets. The Automobile Driving Museum was founded in 2001 by Earl Rubenstein and Stanley Zimmerman, long-time automobile collectors and friends. They had dreamed about a museum that allowed the public to actually sit in and experience riding in a collectible vehicle. Their mission is to give the public an opportunity to experience classic and special interest automobiles and preserve and maintain orphan vehicles no longer being manufactured such as Studebaker, Packard, Stutz and Nash AMC. The museum occupies over an acre of land and has 40,000 square feet for automobile display, storage, repair, and restoration. The museum also has large meeting rooms and party spaces available for rent. It is open Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
